Nathan Towne – 6:00 PM Performance

Nathan Towne is a freelance American musician, born and raised in sunny California, and now living in pure Michigan. He is an accomplished musical talent on many instruments, and is especially practiced on guitar, piano, and drums. Nathan was raised listening to a wide spectrum of music, from classical greats to bluesy jazz, to the best of Rock & Roll and everything in between. Nathan plays it all with style and ease.

Beginning with formal music training as a child and through his early adulthood, Nathan developed his style and intricacy while playing with an array of talents in all genres. Nathan has a mastery of the guitar, both acoustic and electric, making them sing and scream. His piano is impressive, his bass lines make you move, and his drumming is rock steady. With heartfelt dedication, he continues to be musically innovative.

In 2017, Nathan began playing bass and singing background vocals in BLind MeLoN in which he writes, records and performs with the well-known rock band all over the United States and Canada.

When he is not touring with Blind MeLoN, Nathan is the Artist in Residence at the historic Cheboygan Opera House, and the House Musician at The Terrace Inn in Petoskey, both in Michigan. He loves composing his own music in his home studio in the peaceful quiet of Cheboygan and also finds time and patience to teach budding musicians how to play.
