Kalysta – 7:30PM Seating

With a story to tell and a spectacular voice to deliver, vocalist and songwriter Kalysta discovered her musical passion at the young age of six. Hailing from just outside Detroit Michigan, Kalysta was raised on classic Motown records, the greats of the Big Band era, and contemporary R&B and soul.

Getting her start in numerous choirs and trained classically in piano, Kalysta finds her home tracing the past steps of Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse, weaving the past with modern musical finger print.

Kalysta earned the award for Best Jazz Vocalist at the 2020 and 2021 Great Lakes Bay Region Review Music Awards. Kalysta’s has been featured on college radio, spanning from Michigan to California. Her works were included on the Top Ten R&B Playlist at Old Dominion College

in Virginia.

Kalysta is currently finishing her eagerly awaited debut record in the same studio that launchd Greta Van Fleet with writer/producer Michael Bermudez and additional writing and instrumentation from Grammy award winner Andrew Dost of the band fun.
